Vijayawada: Andhra Bank has opened its 2853rd branch in the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat premises in its new capital Velagapudi in Guntur district on Friday. It was formally launched by none other than the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu.
The bank has 6600 plus delivery channels spread across the country in 26 states and 3 union territories with 931 branches and 1200 ATMs located in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Bank has also partnered with Government of Andhra Pradesh to implement the Financial and Rural Development Programs like e-PDS, MNREGA payments etc. The Bank is also contributing its share in social upliftment of the state - it runs 9 RSETIs and 4 FLCCs in the state to impart skills to rural youth and create financial literacy.
