Hyderabad: The whirlwind tour of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Telangana state has ended up on a dull note without any significant announcement except launching of 6 prescheduled programs from one single platform.
Prime Minister who arrived in a special Indian Airforce plane at Begumpet airport here today at 2 pm. He drove straight to the Komatibanda village in Gajwel Mandal on Sunday and unveiled a pylon of the Mission Bhagiratha project of the state government.
He also unveiled 5 other programs including dedicating the 1200 MW power project of NTPC to the nation, laying of foundation to the Manoharabad-Kothepet railway line, launching of 1600 MW power project by Ramagundem fertilizers Ltd. and Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University in Warangal.
Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao while addressing the mammoth gathering organised by Minister for Irrigation Harish Rao urged the Prime Minister to declare at least one national project for Telangana and a long lasting support and cooperation of the center in this direction. The speech of the CM mostly confined to showering praises on the Prime Minister who in turn returned in a similar fashion but nothing end of the day worked out to the state of Telangana.
