Yogi Govt To Erect Lord Rama’s Tallest Statue In Ayodhya

The Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government is all set to erect a 100-meter tall grand statue of Lord Rama on the banks of Saryu river in Ayodhya.

It is learnt that the state government has proposed this in its report 'Navya Ayodhya' reportedly submitted to the Governor Ram Naik. The idea was part of the state tourism department's plan to make the city a tourist destination.

However, a press note issued by the Rajbhavan said that the National Green Tribunal will have to clear the project before it is built on Saryu Ghat.
